Cookie Policy
This English version is a courtesy translation provided for your convenience only. The German version of this cookie policy is the sole legally binding text. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the two versions, the German text prevails.
01 — What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They serve to make the website function properly, to improve the user experience and to collect statistical data.
Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses or malware.
02 — Legal Basis
The use of technically necessary cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision of the website).
Analytics and marketing cookies are set exclusively with your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings.
03 — Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the basic functioning of the website and cannot be deactivated. They are generally set in response to your actions (e.g. language settings, cookie consent).
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | Local Storage | Stores your cookie decision so that the notice does not appear on every visit | 1 year |
For its technically necessary functions, this website sets no cookies in the strict sense. Your cookie decision is stored exclusively locally in your browser (local storage) and is at no point transmitted to our server or to any third party. You can change it at any time via „Cookie-Einstellungen“ (cookie settings) in the footer, or remove it entirely by deleting the website data in your browser.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us to understand and improve how the website is used. They are only set with your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishing unique users | 2 years | |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 session ID | 2 years |
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies may be set with your consent in order to deliver personalised advertising. We currently do not use any marketing cookies. Should this change, you will be informed via our cookie banner.
04 — Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage website tags. Google Tag Manager does not itself create user profiles and does not itself set cookies; it serves as a technical management tool for other services. When the container is loaded, however, your IP address is transmitted to Google — this is technically unavoidable. For this reason, Google Tag Manager is only loaded on this website after you have consented to the „Analyse“ (analytics) or „Marketing“ category. If you decline or make no selection, no connection to Google takes place whatsoever.
05 — Google Consent Mode v2
Our website uses Google Consent Mode v2. This technology ensures that Google services (Analytics, Ads) only process personal data once you have given your express consent via our cookie banner.
Without your consent, no personal data is transmitted to Google. Only anonymous, data-protection-compliant signals without any personal reference may be sent.
06 — Managing & Withdrawing Cookie Consent
You can change your cookie settings or withdraw your consent at any time via the „Cookie-Einstellungen“ (cookie settings) link in the footer of our website.
In addition, you can manage cookies via your browser settings:
- Accept or reject all cookies
- Delete cookies that have already been stored
- Enable notifications when new cookies are set
- Block cookies from specific websites
Please note that deactivating certain cookies may limit the functionality of the website.
